Meredith Jung (PLTW teacher at Abner Creek Academy) and son, Sebastian, (rising 1st grader at Abner Creek) had an unforgettable summer vacation in Mallorca, Spain! 🇪🇸

They explored everything from sandy beaches to ancient castles🏰, strolled through colorful markets, tried tasty new foods🥐, and even swam in the Mediterranean Sea with beautiful fish🐬 Of course, no vacation is complete without lots of gelato!🍧

Janine Dunlap (5th grade teacher at River Ridge Elementary) took a trip with her husband, sister, and best friend to the Mediterranean.🌊 They explored Spain 🇪🇸, France 🇫🇷, Italy 🇮🇹, Greece 🇬🇷, and Turkey 🇹🇷

Trip Highlights: the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Colosseum, Pompeii, and the Acropolis 💯

We're traveling to Hawaii for today’s "Where In The World Is District Five?” 🌎 🌺

Teresa Knepp (4k teacher at Tyger River Elementary) took a trip to the beautiful island with her husband and two daughters. Favorite moments: visiting a black sand beach🏝️, seeing a volcano 🌋, and going to Pearl Harbor🇺🇸. They even got to see the Pacific Ocean for the first time 🌊
