Out of an abundance of caution, all District Five schools will operate on a two hour delay on Monday, January 13..❄️
Due to this weekend's winter weather, ice still remains on roadways in outlying parts of our district. A two hour delay allows for more visibility for our buses, and all drivers.🚌🚗
Elementary schools will begin at 9:30 a.m. and middle & high school at 10:15 a.m.⏰ School buses will run two hours later than their normal pick up times.🚌. We look forward to seeing all students and staff tomorrow! #WeAreD5

Due to a winter storm watch issued by the National Weather Service, all District Five Schools and offices will be closed on Friday, January 10. ❄️ Friday, January 10 will be an e-Learning day for all District Five students. 💻 This decision was made in the best interest of safety for all D5 students and staff, as snow, sleet and ice is predicted by late Friday morning, and roads will likely be unsafe for buses, families or student drivers to travel 🚌❄️🚗
Teachers will be in touch with students regarding all e-Learning assignments 📚📝. All after school and weekend activities are also canceled.📆
We appreciate your patience and understanding, as safety is always our top priority in District Five! #WeAreD5

How sweet is this?! ❤️ Mrs. Morgan’s first graders at Abner Creek Academy celebrated each other by telling how their family spends the holidays. 🎄 Their class represents 7 other countries and various states. The students researched traditions from where their family originates and did a presentation. 🎤 Their presentation was a #magnetmoment with Abner Creek’s communication and leadership focus. They were able to present to administration, various staff members, and fellow students 💙💚 Way to go, Gators! #WeAreD5
