Summer is wrapping up, but we are still keeping up with your "Where In The World Is District Five" adventures! 🌎 Earlier this summer, several D5 students attended FCA Leadership Camp in Black Mountain, NC at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly. Brandt Vanderwarker (Florence Chapel 7th grade), Quaid Wyatt (DR Hill 7th grade,), Drew Long (BHS 10th grade), Will Coan (BHS 10th grade), Myles Covington (BHS 11th grade), & Caleb Massey (BHS 10th grade) all attended the trip and had a great time building leadership skills for their schools! 💯
Students heard from speaker Mo Isom Aiken, former Goalkeeper of the LSU women’s soccer team ⚽ and left equipped and empowered to know how to serve their campuses through FCA 🙌 #WeAreD5 #MyD5Summer

It was a #D5Family affair for Sonia Burnett, and her daughter & granddaughter Jodi Mitchell and Reagan Mitchell, earlier this summer! 🌎 Sonia works in the special services department for the District Office, Jodi is a teacher at Beech Springs Intermediate School, and Reagan is a student at River Ridge Elementary School. The trio travelled to Philadelphia to see some history with the Liberty Bell and meet Rocky, then also spent time in Hershey, PA meeting (and eating) some real characters! 💯

We're loving all of our "Where In The World Is District Five" adventures! 🛶💦☀️ The King family recently spent a week changing lives and building character at Camp Hope in Dahlonega, Georgia 🏕 Carolyn is a 6th grade teacher at Berry Shoals Intermediate, and son, Oliver, is a rising 10th grader at Byrnes High School.
