🌞📚 Summer just got cooler in District Five! 🐢🐠 This week our elementary reading camp students took a dive into a virtual field trip at the SC Aquarium! They explored the sea turtle rehabilitation center and met lots of amazing fish & sea animals. 🌊👀 #D5Learning #WeAreD5

As we look toward graduation tonight, we couldn't help but be touched by this story 🥰
Eight years ago, Senior Meydi Garcia was a 4th grader in Meredith Jung's classroom at Welcome Elementary in Greenville County 🍎 Meydi moved after that year and made her way to District Five ❤️
Years later, during a chance meeting in the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru, Meydi spotted her former teacher, who told her she was now teaching at Abner Creek Academy in District Five! 💙💚
Earlier this week, Meydi attended Abner Creek's grad walk and thanked Mrs. Jung for the impact she made on her life 🫶
