Time for another "Where In The World Is District Five" adventure! 🌎Reidville Elementary School 4th grade teacher, Elise Eakins, recently explored the rich history of New Orleans! Her unforgettable trip was packed with world famous, powdered sugar beignets🍩, a spooky historic ghost tour through the city👻, and a magical visit to Mardi Gras World to eat king cake and see where the parade floats were made! Exploring the coastal city of Puerto Plata🌊, he immersed himself in local culture, took in some breath-taking views ⛰️, walked the vibrant historic streets, and visited the beautiful, centuries-old Catedral de San Felipe. As you can see from the photos, Mr. Watson even made a colorful new friend along the way—a magnificent macaw named Pedro! 🦜

Connor Larson and Noah Hood, both students at Berry Shoals Elementary School, knocked it out of the park on an incredible showing at the PG National World series 9u baseball tournament! 👏🏼Competing against 48 teams from across the country, their team finished top 16 🔥!
Connor pitched in multiple comeback victories, while Noah showcased his power at the plate with homeruns out of the park!🏆

Ciao from Italy! Today's "Where In the World Is District Five" adventures take us to the beautiful land of delicious pasta🍝 and amazing architecture ! Parker Birch, teacher at Byrnes High School, and Madison Montjoy, teacher at Abner Creek Middle, traveled to Italy!
They proudly represented Mizuno USA in the 2026 International Friendship Series,🥎 competing against international teams. Between games, they explored Venice, Tuscany, and Rome enjoying great food 🍕, cool architecture🏛️, and lots of gelato! 🍦

Mrs. Cantrell (Media Specialist at Beech Springs) and her family set sail on an unforgettable adventure aboard Stars of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in the world🚢!! They visited St. Thomas, St. Kitts, and the Bahamas, snorkeled in crystal clear waters🤿, swam with pigs and stingrays, and took in breathtaking views at the island's highest peak! ⛰️
