ZTB has grown a ton and has become one of the anchor points on the 8th-grade offensive line! 🏈 He works hard and is really beginning to gain a grasp and knowledge of the game. Zayden also plays defensive line for the team, and is doing a good job up front trying to take control of the line of scrimmage. Keep up the great work!

Karter is a leader, and the ultimate team player. He does what he is asked, and always does that task at 100%. Karter is a great leader in the classroom, hallways, and on the football field! 🏈 He even recently came up with a late touchdown against Florence Chapel that put us in position for a game-tying 2 point conversion. Karter has set the bar high with expectations. We look forward to watching him continue to excel!

Quamelo is a great player and part of our success on the 7th-grade team. 🏈 As running back and linebacker, he makes his presence known. Quamelo has a good work ethic, and is a leader of the team. He even racked up a ton of yards and some nice tackles against Rainbow Lake on week one of the season. Keep up the great work, Melo! 🔥

Mrs. Shuler’s ELA classes participated in some AVID-based pre reading strategies to introduce a new short story. Today’s strategy was a variation on “wicked hydra” and student’s had to infer what the story would be about by looking at related pictures and posing their own Costa’s level one questions.
