What a sweet way to end our students week.🤩 Our beech book club students who finished the book for the third nine weeks, and were able to answer Mrs. Cantrell's questions, were treated to an ice cream social. 🍨

We don't know how it gets better than this.🤩 Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Tucker's reading small groups are excited about Spring. 🌸 Students read informational articles and then went on an egg hunt to find and answer questions about the passage. ❓📖 Lastly, they were able to decorate their own Easter egg. 🐣

Todays spirit day came with a 90s theme, and a humbling experience for our teachers, as our students are referring to the 90s as the "1900s" 🫠 The nostalgia is kicking in, from boy band shirts, butterfly clips, overalls, and denim on denim. We love to see it! ♥️

Mrs. Chiles class brought learning to life this past week. They had a needle in a haystack 🪡, hit the books📚 , social butterfly🦋 , head in the clouds☁️, wild goose chase🪿, broke my heart💔, time flies⏰, and in a pickle 🥒 to name a few. What a fun way to have her students engage in their learning. Look at their awesome work below! ⬇️

Students in Mrs. Landon's science classes have started their weather unit this week. They collaborated in pairs on a demo to help understand air pressure.

Mrs. Chapman's classes applied their knowledge of surface area by using everyday household boxes unfolded as nets. 📦 What a practical way to apply their content to things in real world. 🌎

Mrs. Mabry's students did a FUN escape room this week on context clues! What a way to get them engaged and problem solving!

Our FCA students heard an inspiring message from Trevor Hoffman of Ridgewood church to start their Thursday off right! ⛪️

Mrs. Watson's class celebrated LEAP day by doing a fun 🎊 STEM 🥼 project. Look at their creations! 🐸

Mrs. Chapman's classes created their own parallelograms and triangles, then took turns solving the area of them. What a great hands on way to practice a skill and get them involved! 📏

Mrs. Bright's homeroom played a memory match game today to review key concepts on measurement! 📏📐

Ms. Mitchell's classes took their learning to the science lab to create fossils to culminate their fossil unit. 🦴 What a great keepsake to remember!

These students just went to Louisville, KY at the ACDA Southern Division Honor Choir Weekend. 🎶 They combined with students from 11 states and worked with composer Andrea Ramsey, heard Chanticleer perform a song for them, and wrapped it all up with a beautiful concert on Saturday. 🎵We are so proud of their hard work this past weekend!🤗

What better way to end a Friday than with Frau Poppe and the ⭐️cheer⭐️ cart! This month teachers were treated to sweet candy treats! 🍫🍬

Our Beta club students met today and came up with lucky sayings to spread amongst our staff in the month of March.☘️ What a fun way to spread cheer!

Yesterday, we had a full house at our FCA meeting. Our club members were given a message by Trevor Glisson from Church at the Mill. What a great way for them to start their day. ⛪️
