He carefully moved her hair out of the way first so it wouldn’t get caught in the zipper! 🥰🧥 No one had to ask. No reward was expected. 🍑🥣 FIRST GRADE TOOK OVER THE CAFETERIA… AND LEARNING WAS ON THE MENU! 🌈🍎 Ms. Walts’ first graders traded their classroom for the cafeteria during a special 3-Day Food & Nutrition Project with Ms. Thomas and Ms. Drury — and they had a BLAST! ❤️🐺 🥣 DAY 1: Build a Parfait! Students became little chefs as they created their own peach or pineapple yogurt parfaits and topped them with granola, Lucky Charms, or colorful sprinkles. YUM! 😋 🍎 DAY 2: What Makes a Meal? Our first graders learned about the five food groups — grains, dairy, protein, fruits, and vegetables — and discovered what makes a meal “reimbursable.” They even learned the cafeteria’s MAGIC NUMBER: 3! ✨ 🌈 DAY 3: Eat the Rainbow! 📚🍂 BIG KID READER, LITTLE KID FANS! 🍂📚 Camden cashed in one of his rewards from Mrs. Blanton’s class in the sweetest way—by visiting Ms. Cielinski’s kindergarten class to read There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Leaf! 🍁 Our kindergarten friends absolutely LOVED having a third grader come read to them, and Camden did such a great job! ❤️🐺 And we have to admit… there’s something extra special about our teacher kids getting to visit Mom’s classroom! 🥹❤️ Moments like these make our Wolfpack feel even more like family! 🐺📚
