Ms. Goldsmith and Mrs. Drummond’s kindergarteners became published authors as they wrote and illustrated their very own class book about what they want to be when they grow up! 👩‍🚒👨‍⚕️👩‍🏫

To celebrate, they enjoyed a fun publishing party complete with a water bar and a special class read-aloud of their book. We are so proud of our young writers and their BIG imaginations! ❤️🐺

Mrs. Heffner’s 2nd graders wrapped up their reading unit in the best way—by learning about and celebrating the diversity that makes their classroom so special! 🌍📚 From sharing stories to appreciating each other’s unique backgrounds, these students showed that our differences make us stronger together. ❤️🐺

Peep peep! 🐥 Ms. Wooley’s class had some VERY special visitors today—our adorable Wellford chicks! 💛

Students got an up-close look at these fluffy friends and learned all about their growth and care. Lots of smiles, curiosity, and maybe a few “aww” moments filled the room!

Clear eyes, bright futures! 👓✨ Our students have been buzzing with excitement as we partnered with Vision To Learn to make sure every child can see their best. Every student received a vision screening, and those who needed glasses were carefully checked multiple times to get the perfect fit. Today was the big day—FREE glasses were delivered and fitted, and the smiles said it all! We are beyond grateful for this incredible opportunity to support our students’ success in and out of the classroom. ❤️🐺 A huge Wellford thank you to Mrs. Sheila who has scheduled all the visits and Nurse Holly for all her help through this process! Today we celebrate our very own superhero, Nurse Holly!! 🦸‍♀️🩹❤️‍🩹 From bandaging scraped knees and elbows to caring for our students and staff with kindness and compassion, she keeps our school safe, healthy, and smiling every single day. Day 2️⃣ and 3️⃣ of Teacher Appreciation Week and our teachers could not be more excited!! Day 2 fed our "very hungry teachers" a delicious breakfast buffet of bagels 🥯 and fruit 🍓! Day 3 took us out "where the wild things are" for a fun trail mix bar and cozy candles! 🕯️ Thank you to our PTO for fueling us with goodies this week!

Ms. Williamson’s class wrapped up their Tortoise & the Hare week in the most fun way! 🐢💨 Students explored fast vs. slow through hands-on experiments and even met a special guest—Rocket the Russian tortoise! What a perfect way to bring the story to life and make learning memorable. Way to go, Wolfpack learners! ❤️🐺
