Our **4th grade scientists** are putting sound to the test! 🧪🔬 Using tambourines, tuning forks in water, slinkies, and rubber bands, students are exploring how **VIBRATIONS** create sound and how different factors affect **PITCH and VOLUME!** 🎼

From making waves to making music, our 4th graders are discovering the science behind the sounds we hear every day through hands-on investigations! 👂✨

🍎🥧 APPLE-solutely the SWEETEST way to learn! 🍏❤️

Ms. Peevler’s first graders have been busy learning all things APPLES! 🍎📚

From taste-testing different apples and using adjectives to describe them to voting for their favorites and graphing the results, these little learners turned apples into BIG learning opportunities! 📊✏️

They also enjoyed apple-themed books and explored how they can “harvest” integrity in their classroom! ❤️🌱

And what better way to wrap up their apple studies than with a delicious APPLE PIE IN A CUP?! 🥧😋

A little reading, writing, math, character building, and a whole lot of FUN! That’s what we call a sweet day of learning! 🐺❤️🖤

🐘🦁🐒 WELCOME TO THE WILLIAMSON ZOO! 🌿🦒🐅

We've got some WILD learning happening in Ms. Williamson's class! 🐾❤️

After spending two weeks exploring animals, their habitats, and what all living things need to survive, these little zoologists put their knowledge to work by creating their very own zoo animal habitats! 🌎🌳

But the learning didn't stop there! 🎤 Each student had the opportunity to share what they learned with their classmates before taking their amazing creations home!

From curious minds to creative designs, these students showed that learning is always an ADVENTURE! 🐯👏

🥹❤️ SOMETIMES THE SMALLEST GESTURES MAKE THE BIGGEST IMPACT! 🐺 When a younger child was having a tough time at daycare, one of our sweet 5th graders stepped up with a BIG heart! ❤️ He reassured her that everything would be okay and even offered her his own stuffed animal to help her feel better. 🧸💕 No one asked him to. He simply saw someone who needed a little kindness and chose to make a difference. 🌟 MOVE OVER, TEACHERS… WE’VE GOT TWO FUTURE EDUCATORS IN THE MAKING! 👩‍🏫✨ Uzi and Kyah in Ms. Roddy’s 5th grade class took their learning to a whole new level! 🚀🌌 After working hard each week to complete their checklists, these two used their early finisher time to research STARS! ⭐ But they didn’t stop there… they decided to become the teachers! These future educators planned an entire lesson, organized their classmates into groups, created a materials list, delivered a presentation, AND wrapped things up with questions to check for understanding! They even handed out tickets to groups who answered correctly! 🎟️👏 Talk about student leadership, creativity, and taking ownership of learning! 🌍✈️ FROM AFRICA TO THE CLASSROOM! 🌍❤️ Eric took his classmates on a journey across the world as he shared all about his incredible two-week trip to Africa! 🌎📚 From paintballing adventures to learning about palm oil at a museum, Eric had some amazing experiences to share. But the most powerful part of his presentation wasn’t about the fun—it was about gratitude and perspective. ❤️ Eric shared how some children in the communities he visited face challenges continuing their education and how he witnessed children working to help support their families. Can you SEE sound? Can you FEEL sound? 🤔 Our 1st grade scientists put those questions to the test during a hands-on STEM investigation! 🧪✨

Using tuning forks and everyday objects, students explored how **vibrations create sound** and how sound can make other objects vibrate! They even felt the vibrations in their own throats to make real-world connections to what they were observing! 🤯
