🏀✨ March Madness Fun in 5th Grade! As part of the competition, Ms. Rampersad had a wildcard reward… and Milana was the lucky winner! Her reward? She got to pick Ms. Rampersad's outfit 😆🎉.

Even without WiFi, the learning doesn’t stop in Mrs. Crocker’s class! 📚✨ Today our students teamed up with a reading buddy or found a cozy spot to read independently. Sometimes a little break from technology is the perfect reminder of how much we love getting lost in a good book. We’ve enjoyed slowing down, turning pages, and simply enjoying the joy of reading together! ❤️📖

A BIG shout out to Mr. Neyman for teaching Ms. Walts' class all about Zearn! These interactive math lessons help students stay motivated to further deepen their Math learning, from NUMBER GYM (number sense review), to BLAST (fluency), to MATH CHAT (guided practice), and finally to the TOWER OF POWER (independent practice)! 🧠💪 Some comments from Ms. Walts' class: "This is fun! I love this! Yeah, I did it! I get to go on to another lesson! I'm going to go on this every day! Yeah, bonus round! Blast off!" Today we have "ZEARNED" it by making Math learning more fun!

Mrs. Wells’ 1st graders had a special visitor today! 🐺✨ Mr. Neyman stopped by to introduce our new math program, ZEARN, and our students LOVED it! 🧮⏰ They had so much fun learning how to tell time while building skills to get ready for the upcoming iReady Diagnostic. Way to work hard, Wolfpack!

🏀📚 March Madness is BACK in Ms. Benson & Ms. Carson’s classes! It’s lesson vs. lesson as students compete to see who can pass the MOST and advance to the Sweet 16! 🍬✨ These hard-working champs are moving on AND celebrating with a sweet treat of Skittles! 🎉 Way to go, Wolfpack! 🐺

🧱🤖 LEGO Competition Day = SUCCESS! 🎉 Our LEGO Competition Team took on the Robo-Dash obstacle course, tackled the Table mission, wowed the judges in their interview, and showed off their skills in the LEGO Engineering competition! 💡✨ Team members rotated through stations, worked together to complete each challenge, and showed amazing organization, cooperation, and teamwork all day long! 🐺💙 We are so proud of our Wolfpack builders and problem-solvers! 🧱🔥 Check out Facebook for the full album!

✍️📚 Author’s Celebration Day in the Wolfpack! 🐺✨ After 3 weeks of hard work, our students officially became published authors! They worked through the entire writing process to create their very own fictional stories — and today we celebrated in style with our “Stories & Starbucks” celebration! ☕️📝 Students shared their stories, gave thoughtful feedback, and enjoyed a sweet snack while cheering each other on. Mrs. Varner’s 3rd graders are on the move… and learning about FRICTION! 🏎️✨ We discovered how friction can slow things down by testing a smooth ramp vs. a sandpaper ramp to see how far our toy cars would travel! 📏 We measured, recorded our data, and will be graphing our results next. Big thanks to Officer Wright for helping us measure like pros! 👏📊 Hands-on learning at its best! 🐺

We kicked off our first Beta Club meeting this week! Students learned about the four pillars of Beta, talked about how to be positive role models in our school, and began brainstorming ideas for our spring service project.

🧲✨ Mrs. Phillip’s 5th graders put their learning to the test! After reading all about magnets, students created their very own compasses… and they really worked! 🧭🙌 Hands-on learning + curious minds = success! Way to go, Wolfpack! 🐺
