📣 Attention, Wellford Academy Families!

Please note that new student registrations will end at 11:00 AM today.

Due to our Meet the Teacher event and our staff preparing to welcome students, we will be unable to process any new student registrations after 11:00 AM today.

If you need to register a new student after that time, please return tomorrow after 7:00 AM, and we'll be happy to assist you.

Wolfpack, are you ready for a chance to win A YEAR OF KONA ICE?! 🐯🍧🎫 All you have to do is help us out during our Canned Drink Drive! Bring a 12-pack of canned drinks to Meet the Teacher TOMORROW, Tuesday, August 4. Each case you bring gets you a raffle ticket! Where to bring them: Look for the donation cart right near the school’s front entrance. Just drop off your drinks and make sure to sign the sheet on the cart to register your cases and enter the raffle. Good luck! 🤞

🔔IMPORTANT REMINDER🔔 If you have NOT completed your child’s infosnap/registration 💻 or uploaded the required proof of residency 🏠 , you will need to do that tomorrow in the music room before you can go meet your child’s teacher. Today, our Wellford Academy team joined colleagues from across District Five for D5 Together—a day filled with learning, collaboration, and inspiration! We kicked off the day with an encouraging message from Dr. Joe Sanfelippo, reminding us of the incredible impact educators have every single day. Then, our staff had the opportunity to choose from a variety of professional development sessions led by our own District Five colleagues, learning about topics that matched their interests and goals. We are grateful for the chance to learn from one another, grow as educators, and bring back new ideas to support our students. Here’s to another great year of learning—together! ❤️🖤🐺 #D5Together

Wellford Academy is looking for caring, energetic individuals to join our After School Program! If you enjoy working with children, creating a fun and safe environment, and making a difference after the school day ends, we'd love to hear from you.

📍 Part-time hours: 2:00–5:45 PM
👧 Work with students in K5–2nd grade
📚 Responsibilities include supervision, recreation, homework help, snack time, and encouraging positive social interactions.
