Cool treat + happy kids = the best kind of school day! 🍧🐺 Our Wolfpack had a blast cooling off with Kona Ice today!

🎈💥 Science came to life in Ms. Heffner’s 2nd grade class today! Students explored solids, liquids, and gases with a hands-on experiment using baking soda and vinegar to blow up balloons. Their excitement was bubbling over as they watched science in action! 🧪✨

Wrapping up the week with our tiniest Wolfpack! 🐾💛 Kindergarteners had a blast at Breakfast with Buddies — eating breakfast, showing off their classrooms, and enjoying a visit to the Book Fair. 📚✨ What a sweet way to end the week!

📡✉️ Ms. Benson’s 5th graders had fun putting history into action today! As they kicked off our unit on the Transcontinental Railroad, students learned how the invention of the telegraph and Morse code made sending messages faster—and even put the Pony Express out of business. They practiced by writing their own sentences in Morse code! 🚂🔠💡

🌱✨ Excitement is growing in Mrs. Varner’s 3rd grade science class! Students have been learning all about the life cycle of plants and took a closer look by dissecting seeds. They were able to identify the seed coat, cotyledon, and even the tiny embryo with its epicotyl and radicle. Hands-on science is the best way to watch curiosity bloom! 🌱🔬💡

✨ First Grade Breakfast with Buddies ✨
Our first graders had such a special morning with their families! 💕 Everyone enjoyed breakfast together, then headed to classrooms to learn more about how first grade does phonics 📚✏️, and wrapped up the morning with a fun stop at the bookfair. What a great way to start the day with learning and family time! 🐺❤️

✨ Today our Wolfpack showed off their bright futures by dressing up as their dream careers for AVID Day! From doctors and teachers to athletes and engineers, we loved seeing the excitement for what’s ahead. 💼👩‍🚀👨‍⚕️

AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination—it’s all about helping students build the skills, confidence, and mindset they need to be successful in school, college, and beyond. 🌟
