🐾🚦 Our 5th grade “Paw Patrol” Safety Team gathered for their monthly Lunch & Learn with Mrs. Miller, Ms. Benson, and Mrs. Fortenberry! Students enjoyed lunch together while reviewing patrol guidelines, asking thoughtful questions, and learning how to be strong leaders for the Wellford Wolfpack. ❤️🐺

📢 Mrs. Gregory’s class welcomed Mrs. Hyatt today for an important lesson on making safe and healthy choices! 🌟 Students are learning how to live drug-free lives as we get ready for Red Ribbon Week coming later this month. ❤️🐺

🎩💛 The Wolfpack showed up big for Kidz in Lids! Students rocked their hats today to support childhood cancer awareness while making a difference together. 🐺❤️

🎸🐺 The Wolfpack rocked the house today for Rock Your School Day! From rockstar outfits to high-energy learning, our students proved they’re ready to shine on and off the stage. ⭐️🤘

🍎 Ms. Cielinski’s class has been busy learning all about apples! Students had the chance to taste red, yellow, and green apples, then share their favorites. Afterward, they worked together to graph the results as a class. A fun (and tasty!) way to combine learning with hands-on exploration! 📊🍏🍎💛

🚂✨ Ms. Benson’s 5th graders wrapped up their study of the Transcontinental Railroad with a “virtual field trip”! Using Google Slides, they explored videos, answered questions, and even traveled to key landmarks through Google Earth. A fun way to bring history to life! 🌎📚

⚡🔋 Our 4th graders put their curiosity to work during Science Enrichment! They built circuits and explored how different energy systems—mechanical, chemical, thermal, electrical, and light—power the world around us. 🧪💡 Their excitement and problem-solving skills lit up the room! ✨

📚✨ Today, Mrs. Coan visited Mrs. Blanton’s class to share the story Mr. Peabody’s Apples. 🍎 This powerful book reminded students about the importance of knowing the whole story before making assumptions, and how kindness should always lead the way. 💛 We are so grateful for these moments that inspire our Wolfpack to think deeply and choose compassion! 🐺❤️

🍂 Say cheese! Fall Picture Day is coming to Wellford Academy on Friday, October 17. Make sure your student is camera-ready for this autumn snapshot! 📸✨

👨‍🏫✨ Special thanks to Mr. Gallman for visiting Ms. Carson’s class! After spending time getting to know one another, students sketched their future dreams and created symbols for meaningful words like kindness. Such a thoughtful way to connect and inspire our Wolfpack! ❤️🐾

🧪🌡️ Our 5th graders had a blast being scientists today! They explored how changes in temperature affect air and made some exciting observations along the way. Hands-on learning = big discoveries! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

✏️ When the classroom goes on strike… 5th graders in Ms. Rampersad’s class had to use their best argumentative writing skills to convince the chairs, tables, and supplies to return to work! 💬🪑📚

👟✨ Walk to School Day is coming up on Wednesday, October 1 at 9:00 AM! Families are invited to lace up those walking shoes 👞👟 and join their students for a fun walk to school.
