🚀✨ First-grade field trip fun at the Lincoln Science Center & Planetarium! 🌌🪐 Our little explorers had a blast discovering the wonders of the universe! From hands-on science exhibits to an awe-inspiring journey through the stars in the planetarium, it was a day filled with curiosity, learning, and lots of smiles! 🌟🔭 We loved seeing their eyes light up as they learned about planets, constellations, and the magic of science. Our kindergarteners had a blast today on their field trip to Strawberry Hill! They got to pick out their very own 🎃pumpkins, meet some adorable farm animals 🐮, and enjoy some time on the big slide🛝. It’s always so special to see them learning and having fun outdoors.

After studying geometric ▪️🔸🔻shapes and how to identify them, first graders created their very own collages inspired by Henri Matisse. They worked on “drawing with scissors,” where they had to cut their 🍓🍌fruits and vegetables 🥕🌽out without drawing them first.

🍎 4K Apple Fun! 🍏 Our 4K classes are diving into all things apples! 🍂 Ms. Cielinski’s class got hands-on making delicious homemade applesauce, while Mrs. Guy’s class baked up some warm, tasty apple pies! 🥧 The students had a blast learning about the process, and of course, enjoying the fruits of their labor. It’s a sweet time of year at Wellford Academy! 🍏🍎

🎭📚 Our 5th graders had an amazing time this week at the Chapman Cultural Center watching The Diary of a Wimpy Kid play! 🎟️ It was such a fun and educational experience seeing this beloved story come to life on stage. 🤩 Thank you, Chapman Cultural Center, for hosting us and giving our students a field trip to remember!
🎸🤘 Rock Your School Day was a HUGE success! 🤘🎸 We absolutely LOVED seeing our students and teachers dress up and totally rock out at Wellford Academy! 🎶 From the awesome outfits to the incredible energy, you all made the day one to remember! 🤩 Thank you for bringing the spirit and showing us how to ROCK our school! 🏫💫 We can't wait for the next opportunity to celebrate together!
