Using their creativity and STEM skills, they designed parachutes, slides, sleds, ladders, planes, and more. 🚀❄️ We’re thrilled to announce that Wesley is safe on the ground and ready to enjoy the holidays! 🎉🐺 A huge round of applause to our amazing problem-solvers for their teamwork and ingenuity. 🎶✨ Special Dismissal Announcement for Thursday, 12/12 ✨🎶 Tomorrow, starting at 3:30 PM, After School pickup will take place in the bus loop instead of the car line. 🎶 Congratulations to our talented Wellford Academy students—Makiyah Wright, Trinity Stroud, and Matisyn Helvy—on being accepted into the South Carolina Music Educators Conference Honor Choir! This prestigious ensemble brings together students from schools across South Carolina. In February, they will travel to Columbia to work with a renowned clinician and perform at the Music Educators Conference. 🎄🧠 Mrs. Crocker’s 3rd graders got into the holiday spirit today with a fun brain break game! They worked together as a team, showing collaboration and creativity, all while spreading some Christmas cheer. 🎅🎁 Nothing like a little festive fun to keep our brains sharp and our hearts happy!

Between classes and during breaks, they’re coming together to complete a collaborative puzzle. Once they finish, a prize awaits! 🌟 5th graders in Mrs. Glay’s homeroom took their Out of My Mind novel study to the next level with a hands-on STEM challenge! 🛠️ Students chose between designing a wheelchair-accessible playground or creating an invention to make daily life easier for the main character, Melody. Their creativity and problem-solving skills shined as they built thoughtful solutions to promote inclusivity and accessibility. Amazing work, future engineers and innovators! 💡👏
