Thank you to all of the parents and community members who made Boosterthon a success! You helped raise funds to make TRE an even better place for our students.
Ms. Knepp's morning K-4 class raised the most money during the fundraiser and as a prize the class was rewarded a pajama day and each student got to give the teacher a pie in the face!

Congratulations to the winners of our first annual TRE Library Bookmark Contest! Over 150 students submitted their designs for our contest and they were all so creative. The top three designs will be featured in the Media Center for the entire school year and printed for students. Our winners were Nolan Copleand (1st), Ava Temple (2nd), and Amiyah Espinal (3rd)!

This is a reminder that Fall Picture Day is Thursday, October 10th.

🐾 What a great day to be a terrier!
🐾 Today we celebrated our #Boosterthon success with three fun runs for our students!
🐾 Because of their hard work, we’ve raised over $12,000 for our school! Thank you all for your dedication to making TRE an amazing place for our students to learn.

Today is our TRE Fun Run! 🎉
We are so excited to celebrate with our students who have worked so hard to raise funds for our school. We are SO close to meeting our goal! Our current estimated school profit is $11,441.
Our donation window is still open, so if you would like to donate, it's not too late! Check back in later today for pictures from the Fun Run! 🎉👏🎉👏🎉

Mrs. Harvey's Class has been reading "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" written by Bill Marten and illustrated by Eric Carle. They have been working on animals and colors while practicing story sequencing. They made brown bear hats to show the colors of animals and their sequence in the story.

We celebrated #internationaldotday today at Tyger River! Ms. Hinch and Mrs. Cassidy's classes created Dot Day projects, then worked together to create a picture of TRE using stickers. About 1,250 stickers when into their awesome artwork!

Ms. Cassidy's class visited the library for a lesson about summarization! They read "After the Fall" by Dan Santat with Mrs. Smith and worked in groups on a summarization assignment. They finished off the lesson by designing their own paper airplanes (just like the one in the story) and had a contest to see which one could fly the longest distance!

Mrs. Bright's and Mrs. Duncan's homerooms have been learning about solubility in science. They put their new learning to the test with some hands-on learning by testing the solubility of different substances in water!

We’re celebrating International Dot Day on Monday, September 16th!
We invite all students and staff to wear clothing with dots on them to celebrate Dot Day.
Our teachers and staff will also be doing fun activities to go along with Dot Day in many of our classes!

We are so proud of our students whose work was selected to be part of the D5 Chapman Culture Center Art Show! Congratulations to Henry Noble , Bennett Chandler , Nyla Sanders , David Kendrick , and Sadie Case from Mrs. Nancy Mabry's art class.
Be sure to check out the show at the Chapman Cultural Center from September 16th to November 1st.
