We can't wrap up #NationalPrincipalsMonth without giving a shoutout to Mr. Daugherty!
Mr. Daugherty is caring, compassionate, and is always looking for new ways to make our school even better. He greets our students and staff each morning with a smile and is always making us laugh. TRE is so lucky to have him!
Thank you for all that you do Mr. Daugherty!

Today Fifth graders at TRES enjoyed a free, outdoor farmers market with fresh, locally sourced fruits and veggies. 🥕🥔🍅🫛
Students used “market cash” to purchase their selections – ranging from gala apples, pears, and sweet potatoes to carrots, tomatoes, and butternut squash.

Congratulations to Mrs. Heather Cassidy on being named Tyger River Elementary's Distinguished Literacy Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Cassidy is a member of our fourth grade team and works hard to foster a love of reading among her students. 🐾📖🎉
Check out these kind words from her students:
"I love that she reads a lot of books and she teachers writing and I'm so excited to go to the movies for Wild Robot because she makes it fun."
"I love that she reads to us, it's my favorite thing about the day. She plans the funest plans like the Wild Robot Day and many more! She is one of my favorite teachers. And it was fun where she planned the write house activity. She is very helpful and she plays Blooket a lot with us! And I also like when she lets us read because I love reading."
Thank you for all of your hard work Mrs. Cassidy!
