To celebrate AVID Day on Friday, Mrs. Cassidy's students dressed their best and shared their dreams for the future. They talked about the careers they hope to pursue and wrote down their goals with confidence and enthusiasm. 💼✨
It's inspiring to see these young minds so motivated and ready to chase their dreams! 🚀 #AVIDDay #FutureLeaders #DreamBig #4thGradeGoals

Mrs. Mackey’s afternoon fifth graders met with Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Almond’s kindergartners for the first time today.
They spent time getting to know each other and throughout the year these classes will partner up as reading and writing buddies. 📖📝
What a great way to end the week!

Mrs. Roper and Ms Eliott's kindergarten class invited police officers and firefighters to their class so they could honor them on 9/11. We are so grateful for their service and protection.

🎶🎹Check out these awesome musicians!
Our Terrier Singers had their first rehearsal this week. We are looking forward to hearing them perform throughout the year!

Today, Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Almonds' students enjoyed a tea party with their favorite stuffed animals, filled with giggles and smiles. ☕🧸
The excitement doubled when our Assistant Principal, Mr. Bowen, visited for a special read-aloud story. 📚✨

Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Almond’s kindergarten class harnessed the sun to make solar ovens yesterday to make s’mores. ☀️🍫
They had to wait patiently all day until the sun came out...but it was worth the wait. Reinforcing the letter "Ss" with a little treat never tasted so good.

Our 1st graders had a blast learning how to pick their "Just Right Books"! 📚
They cozied up in tents with reading buddies right in the library after Mrs. Smith read "Goldie Socks and the Three Librarians." It was the perfect way to try out their book choices and practice finding stories that fit them just right.
Happy reading, Terriers! 🌟📖 #JustRightBooks #1stGradeReaders #LibraryAdventures #ReadingIsFun

This fun, sensory activity made learning numbers extra exciting and memorable. Way to go, Terriers! 🎉
