Ms. Grummel’s class learned how to read and analyze technical text through learning how to battle their Pokémon cards. They were able to combine mental math, reading skills, and critical thinking skills in a fun and interesting way. Way to go Pokémon trainers! ⚡️

Our National Jr Beta club held their first meeting of the year this morning. They discussed expectations and requirements and ways to accomplish those! Great job!




Derek Henderson from His Vineyard in Greer came and spoke with our FCA yesterday. We are grateful for our community members coming and supporting our students and school!

Students in Mrs. McCrary and Mrs. Landon's classes mummified peppers as part of their unit on Ancient Egypt.🇪🇬 They'll check on these peppers in 90 days to see if their technique worked! 🌶️🌶️











This Wednesday our FCA club will host the annual, See You at the Pole.🇺🇸 It will start at 7:20 for any students who would like to attend. They will gather around the flag pole out in front of our school. #SeeYouAtThePole #SYATP


Students in Mrs. Landon's class used their math and problem solving skills to create a penguin house. They were given a budget to buy materials and used previous knowledge from experiments to find the best materials to keep their ice penguins alive.🧊They collaborated together to build their houses and tested them out in the lab. 💡Each class crowned a winner who were treated to a special prize! 🐧











Students in Mrs. West's class have been learning about Westward Expansion and created wagons from tasty treats! 🗺️🧭









Students in Mrs. Chapman's math class worked in their math journals 📓 today to brainstorm different mathematical methods to compare quantities. 🧮 Great work #BeechSprings students! #AVID #levelup











Mrs. Landon was presented with a check today from Waldrop Heating & Air. She was nominated by peers and chosen as one of five winners for their teacher giveaway program! We are thankful for local companies that love and support our teachers, way to go Mrs. Landon! 💜

Ms. Grummel's classes have been taking advantage of this beautiful weather ☀️lately by having reading time outdoors in our reading garden. 📖🌳





Our sixth grade science classes have been learning about Thermal Energy🔥 They've worked hard to build and create 🐧🏠 Penguin houses using their knowledge of conductors and insulators. 🧶🥄 Mrs. Mitchell's class can be seen below creating the houses then testing them out and to see who's house "SAVED" the ice cube penguin by not allowing it to melt. 🧊Check out their great work below. ⬇️











Students made board games for Mrs. Chapman's first unit on decimals and fractions. Last week for review they played each others games. 👾🎯🎱











Mrs Bailey’s classes took coordinate graphing to the hallway! They created grids on the floor to get a full hands on approach to learning. Way to go!! 🎊 #BeechSprings









Our students and staff showed out today for “Kidz in Lids!” project for the Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas🧢 Our school raised $489 today and we are so proud. 😌 All money will be sent to Kidz in Lids, who donates the money towards childhood cancer research.🎗️ #BeechSprings #KidzinLids
