Hello Beech Springs parents and guardians!
I want to communicate with you about SC DHEC requirements for vaccines. Your child is at the age where they are due for their next series of childhood vaccines.
The SC Department of Public Health states that before your child can enter into 7th grade they must have the required vaccine TDAP (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis[whooping cough]), on file with the school.
If your child has had this vaccine, please provide the school with a printed copy of your child’s shot record/exemption, or else with a clearly legible screenshot. If a screenshot is preferable, you may email it to this email address: (chloe.bunton@spart5.net.)
If you know that your student has NOT had their updated vaccine, please call your child's doctor and make them an appointment. Once they have had the vaccine, please bring or send proof of immunization to the school.
Again, per DHEC guidelines, your student will NOT be permitted to enter into the 7th grade without this required vaccine.
