🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes 🇺🇸 Today at Wellford Academy, we proudly celebrated our veterans — the brave men and women who have served our country with courage and dedication. ❤️💙 Our morning began with breakfast to honor our guests, followed by a special program in the gym featuring heartfelt performances from our first graders, the Wellford Chorus, and inspiring research presentations from our third graders. We wrapped up this meaningful day with a mini photo shoot for our veterans and their students — a perfect way to capture the love and pride shared across generations. 📸 Thank you to all veterans for your service and sacrifice, and a special thank you to those who were able to join us today. Our Paw Patrol was out bright and early this morning, helping keep everyone safe and smiling! 🐾❄️ Temperatures are dropping this week, so don’t forget to bundle up, Wolfpack! ❤️🖤

🥯 5th Grade Math Fun with “The Bagel King”! 🥯 Our 5th graders recently brought The Bagel King to life during math! Inspired by the story, students “shopped” at Wesley’s Bakery, selecting bagels, toppings, and drinks. They used their knowledge of decimal multiplication to find totals for each category, make estimates, and calculate tax. Students practiced multiple multiplication strategies while connecting math to a real-world situation. Of course, the best part came at the end — enjoying some delicious bagels and treats! 🧮✨

🍂🎃 Our kindergarteners had the best day at Strawberry Hill! From picking the perfect pumpkins to exploring the farm, it was a fall field trip full of smiles, learning, and fun! 🍓🧡

🏈🥫 It’s time for our Annual PTO Food Drive! 🥫🏈

Starting Monday, you’ll find bins in the cafeteria ready to be filled with non-perishable food items. All donations will go toward helping local families in need — and we’re adding a little friendly competition to make it fun!

💜🧡 Team Clemson or ❤️🖤 Team Carolina — which one will fill their bin the fastest? Bring your items and show your team spirit while making a difference!

The drive runs through November 21st — let’s see which team the Wolfpack supports most while giving back to our community! 🐾💪

🎶 The D.R. Hill Middle School band stopped by today to show off their amazing talent! Our 5th graders were so impressed—and inspired—as they got a glimpse of what’s waiting for them next year! 🎺🥁

The Wolfpack is wild about reading! 🐾📖 Our library is the perfect place to curl up with a great book.

📬✨ Exciting news from Mrs. Phillips’ class! Her students have been writing letters to their favorite authors — and just received their first reply!

Dr. Seuss Enterprises sent one of our students a book with a personalized message inside — they even added his name to the book! How incredible is that? 💌📚

Way to go, readers and writers — you never know what can happen when you reach out and share your words! ❤️

🧦 We had so much fun at our annual Sock Hop! When you mix Halloween excitement and a Sock Hop, you get the perfect combo of fun, laughter, and just the right amount of chaos! 😄🕺💃 Thanks to everyone who helped make it a memorable time! 🖤❤️
