🐾 Yesterday was paws-itively amazing in 2nd grade at Wellford Academy! 🐶✨
Students had a special visit from therapy dogs and got to learn all about how to care for, interact with, and train our furry friends. From understanding a dog's needs to practicing a few training techniques, it was a tail-wagging good time filled with love, learning, and lots of smiles! 💛🐕📚
🍎🥦🛒 Mrs. Dobmeier’s class took a deliciously fun field trip to Lowe’s Foods today! Students learned all about creating a balanced meal, tasted a variety of healthy (and yummy!) samples, and even picked up a few new dance moves along the way! 💃🕺
Each student went home with a colorful balanced plate and a slice of cake to celebrate a day well spent. Big thanks to Lowe’s Foods for making learning so tasty and memorable! 🧁🎉

🐣 Exciting news at Wellford Academy! Our chick incubator from Clemson’s 4-H program has officially arrived! Over the next few weeks, students will observe the life cycle of a chicken—from egg to hatchling—in this egg-citing hands-on science experience! 🥚➡️🐥
🐾🚍 Some of our 4th grade classes had a wildly fun day on their rescheduled field trip to Roper Mountain Science Center! 🧪🦎
From hands-on science to up-close animal encounters, students explored, discovered, and learned all about the animal kingdom. It was the perfect mix of education and adventure, and we’re so glad the sunshine finally made this trip possible! ☀️🔬
