🎓🌳 A Historic Farewell from Our 5th Grade Trailblazers! 🌳🎓 This year marks a special milestone at Wellford Academy — we are celebrating the very first 5th grade class to graduate from our new building! As a lasting tribute to their time here and the legacy they've built, each 5th grade class planted a tree on our campus. 🌱💫 These trees will grow just like our students have — rooted in kindness, reaching for the stars, and leaving a mark that will be felt for generations. We are so proud of our Wolfpack leaders and the beautiful way they’ve chosen to give back. Thank you, 5th graders, for making history and planting hope for the future. ❤️🖤

🎉 First Grade Fun Day! 🎉 Today was full of smiles, cheers, and celebration as our first graders were honored at Awards Day for their hard work and accomplishments this year! 🏅📚 From shining readers to kind classmates, we are so proud of all they’ve achieved! After the ceremony, it was time to party! 🎈Classrooms were buzzing with laughter, games, treats, and sweet memories as students celebrated the end of an amazing school year with their friends and teachers. ❤️ Way to go, first grade! You've grown so much and we can't wait to see what you’ll do next!

🚀 Our 1st–5th grade students have been buzzing with STEM excitement! 🧠🐝 💥 3rd–5th graders worked in teams to strengthen communication, review the engineering design process, and tackle state test prep using fun gamification strategies. They also explored constraints and how they impact design thinking! 🐝 1st and 2nd graders dove into team-building by learning how honeybee colonies work together. They communicated using sound and light, and celebrated their learning with sweet ice cream treats and creative LEGO builds! 🍦🧱 🔬 As the year wraps up, students are already looking forward to next year’s PLTW modules and growing their problem-solving skills even more. Our 5th graders are especially excited for STEM classes in middle school! ❤️ We're so thankful our district provides opportunities that spark curiosity and a love for science, technology, engineering, and math here at Wellford Academy!
