Artzapalooza Info.

It's THAT time of year for Artzapalooza! 🎉🎨🎉

If you are new to Artzapalooza, this is our end-of-the-year art exhibit showing our talented visual art students' hard work! The D5 Fine Arts lobby exhibits artwork from students of level Art 1 through an exclusive AP showcase.

*NEW* this year is our 4 honors/art club sculpture collaboration with the k4 art students from Duncan Elementary School of the Arts. Our K4 students had the opportunity to draw some monsters and flowers for art class and our honors students had the opportunity to take those drawings and bring them to life in 3D form! The BHS students and K4 students will have a meet and greet on May 1st in the Fine Arts Center.

*BACK* this year is our prom mural silent auction! This year's Alice in Wonderland-themed prom murals painted by our AP and Media Arts Honors students are VERY popular so we will be raising money for the art department and the artists themselves through the auction. If you are interested in a piece, bidding is starting at $100. The auction will take place at the reception and conclude when the show does. If you can't make it to the reception and would like to bid, you can email a max bid to raelyn.chambliss@spart5.net

Attached is the invitation to the reception!

ALL Seniors (Class of 2024): Google form and transcript request

Regardless of your post-graduation plans (work, Armed Forces, college, etc.), ALL seniors must complete the Google form using the link (below).

Those not attending a college must complete the Google form.  A Parchment account is not needed.

Those attending college must create a Parchment Account.  Use of the account is free for BHS juniors and seniors. College acceptance and the awarding of state scholarships are contingent on the college having the final high school transcript from BHS/Parchment.  The college will accept only the official transcript from BHS/Parchment (no copies), as the transcript is a legal document. If you do not have a Parchment account, the link is included near the top of the information within the Google form or click here:   https://www.parchment.com/u/registration/21572/account

1.  College-bound students must create a Parchment account (The link included in the form or click here:   https://www.parchment.com/u/registration/21572/account

2.  Once a Parchment account is created, complete the Google form.

3.  Last, return to Parchment and place an order(s).  Select the choice of "Hold for grades'.

Note:    If you plan to transfer to another college eventually, ONLY the name of the college where you will begin is needed.  (Ex. SCC to Converse, you need to list only SCC.  Converse would send the final college transcript.)

Both links are also included below, as well as within the Google form. 👇
