Ms. Johnson’s 6th grade historians traveled back in time to the Stone Age! Students stepped into the shoes of early humans and created their own cave art by the light of a campfire, just as people did thousands of years ago! 🔥Afterward, her historians reflected on their experience and wrote about their artwork, sharing what they created, why they chose their subject, and what they learned. 💭 What a fun way to experience history, think like a historian, and Go Be Great! 💜

We hope to see you tonight at Carver Middle as our Volleyball team plays in their second official game of the season! 🐾💜

With volleyball season officially underway, it’s time to begin recognizing our Athlete of the Week!
Our first Athlete of the Week this year is Mikayla M. Mikayla plays on the Volleyball team and this week, she stepped into a new position and has shown tremendous effort. 🏐 We were really impressed with her skill, teamwork, and positive attitude at last nigjt’s scrimmage. 🔥 Congratulations Mikayla! 🐾💜

Mrs. Watson’s Social Studies students spent the day analyzing different types of maps. 🗺️ They were able to discover how the purpose of a map determines the information it includes. Great work, students! 🐾
