🟣🟡🟢WHAT IS YOUR IMPACT?🔴🟠🔵 Students and staff celebrated AVID Day and College Colors Day today in a lot of ways.
👕Everyone donned their favorite/dream college's apparel.
🎓Students and teachers alike both stated what they wanted their impact to be.
✏️Students set SMART goals that they hope to achieve by the end of the year.
🌱And our AVID elective students did various activities to help them thrive during the school year!
This Friday is AVID Day at BFA! How can you celebrate with us? Well you can start by wearing college colors! What better way to be college and career ready, than by repping your favorite college? Maybe it is your dream college or you just like their football team, whatever, just wear those colors!

A new school year means new AVID binders! 📚 Scholars in Mrs. Brown's AVID elective class show off their new AVID binders and participate in a team building activity outside! ☀️ What a great way to start off the school year!

We hope you’re enjoying your summer so far! Our teachers sure are! Our German teacher, Ms Cassell, and Nurse Felty are currently on a tour of Europe! Here they are sailing the canals of Venice! We hope you continue to have a safe and exciting summer and we will see you in August!
We said "Aloha" to the last full school day of the year with 🌺Tropical Tuesday🌺 Students and teachers dressed for a tropical paradise and enjoyed some popsicles at lunch. Just two half days left until our freshman surf 🌊 into their sophomore year!
🌺🌺What better way to enjoy the last FULL day of school than chilling out in your tropical vacation clothes with a popsicle! BFA Leadership will be giving out FREE popsicles at lunch to anyone who dresses in their island best!🌺🌺

☕SIPSetc. Roebuck pulled their coffee truck up to treat teachers to an early Teacher Appreciation Week surprise! Luckily they brought plenty, because students were able to get in on the goodness too! Thanks SIPS for allowing us to have a fun morning for our students and staff!☕

Yesterday a modern day rivalry took over BFA. The Soccer Moms ⚽️👩👧👦 vs the BBQ Dads 🍔👨👧👦. The moms came in strong with their Stanley cups but the dads countered with their spatulas and tongs!
