Ms. Hinsdale’s science class completed a project on their Living Things Unit, creating a cell model out of treats! Looks like it was a lot of fun (and pretty yummy)!
🐧Mrs. Sturgis’ scientists put everything they’ve learned about heat transfer to the test! They worked together to design and build a hut that would help protect penguins from the effects of climate change.
They used their knowledge of conduction, convection, and radiation to create a design that would help keep their penguins cool and protected! Great teamwork, creativity, and scientific thinking! 🐧
See You at the Pole was this morning. Due to the potential for rain, we moved indoors and packed out the media center. Students sang praise songs, listened to a message from Pastor Nathan Clyburn, and prayed over our school and community. Thank you to all the community members that joined us this morning.

Today was our 8th grade AP, Mr. Harper's birthday! It was a big one, but we won't tell you exactly how old he really is! You might have seen many people around the building, dressed in all black today to celebrate though if that gives you a hint. 😉 Thank you for all you do for our school each and every day. From helping teachers with technology in the classroom to making sure our students have the tools they need to learn, our IT professionals are always there when we need them. They troubleshoot, problem-solve, fix, support, and somehow make the technology work when we’re convinced it never will! 😄

After a long (short) week, our PTO treated the faculty and staff to an amazing lunch! These ladies are simply the best! Thank you all so much!
Friday was club day and one of our clubs, Project Gentleman facilitated by Mr. Watson, was off to a great start! Young men learned about proper social skills, leadership, etiquette, how to tie a tie, fragrances for men, and many other things related to being gentlemen.
