What an awesome finish to National Career Development Week! Students showed off their future career dreams, and staff took us back in time with jobs they once held. We loved seeing all the fun and inspiration. Thanks for a great week, Wolves!

We are so grateful to Mr. Daniel “Big Dan” Fisher for spending time at our Wolves of the Workforce today! 🐺He shared his inspiring journey from working as a bus boy to becoming the Vice President of Operations at Guthrie’s Chicken. His message about hard work, leadership, and staying focused truly resonated with our students. They asked thoughtful questions and walked away with real world insight they can carry into their own futures. Thank you, Big Dan, for encouraging our young leaders!

Beta Club students stayed after school to earn their first service hours through a school beautification effort. They served our school janitors and groundskeepers who work so hard to keep our campus clean! Students picked up trash around the school building outside and helped dust all the window ledges inside, hoping to maintain a clean and inviting environment for everyone. It embodies the Beta Club motto: Let us lead by serving others.

What an awesome day of science + hockey! ❄️📚

The 6th grade choir enjoyed their first “informance” today for family members and teachers! We demonstrated what a regular class period looks like- showing warm ups, aural training, sight reading, and working on repertoire for our upcoming concert. We even convinced the adults to learn and perform some of our favorites activities and songs with us!

Tomorrow will be a dress up day for Career Week! Come dressed up as your past or future career!

Students from Mrs. Ohler’s 7th & 8th grade choir classes had the opportunity to attend a choral clinic at Converse University with 15 other schools from Spartanburg and Greenville. The sopranos & altos were able to work with Katie Hardwick (choral director at Cane Bay High School) and the tenors & basses worked with Dr. Andrew Huish (director of choral activities at Bob Jones University). The day included a lot of singing, games, a fun lunch break, and a performance/college talk from students at Converse. We ended with a concert for parents to show everything we had learned that day.
