The Lady Wolves volleyball team delivered an absolutely incredible season! The girls worked tirelessly on the court and finished the year undefeated, never losing a single match. Their dedication didn’t stop there — they put in the same level of effort in the classroom, earning multiple athletic scholar awards across the team.
Coach Jenna and Coach Montjoy could not be more proud. They are beyond grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our 2025 undefeated Lady Wolves volleyball team and all they have accomplished!

A small group of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders had the opportunity to meet with Senior Scientist Jesse Hsu through a virtual Discovery Education session. Jesse joined us from Delaware and shared his inspiring career journey to becoming a scientist. It was our first time using this platform, and it was exciting to see the kinds of connections we can make with professionals across the country!

📱📡 Mrs. Landon’s students became cell signal scientists! They learned how phones send and receive digital wireless signals through radio waves—then put their knowledge to the test.
Students wrapped their phones in two different “mediums” (tin foil and paper towels) and called a neighbor to see what would happen. Spoiler alert: radio waves do not vibe with aluminum foil! 😆✨ It reflected or absorbed the waves, blocking the call completely.
Hands-on learning + a little bit of tech magic = one awesome lesson! 🚀🔬

Byrnes Men's Soccer Interest Meeting!

🐸 Frog dissection day in Mrs. Sturgis’ class—because the best way to learn about body systems is to hop right in!

Recently, Mrs. Sturgis’ Scientists learned all about the circulatory and respiratory systems— complete with games and DIY lungs! ❤️🫁

📡✨ Talk about a BLAST from the past! Mrs. Landon’s students have been diving into the world of analog vs. digital signals—and wow, have things changed! Wednesday they explored how everyday items have transformed over time to keep up with our increasingly digital world.
From clunky classics to sleek modern tech, they got to see firsthand just how far we’ve come. 🚀🔊💻
Learning about waves + history = a pretty awesome combo! 📺➡️📲

What an awesome finish to National Career Development Week! Students showed off their future career dreams, and staff took us back in time with jobs they once held. We loved seeing all the fun and inspiration. Thanks for a great week, Wolves!

We are so grateful to Mr. Daniel “Big Dan” Fisher for spending time at our Wolves of the Workforce today! 🐺He shared his inspiring journey from working as a bus boy to becoming the Vice President of Operations at Guthrie’s Chicken. His message about hard work, leadership, and staying focused truly resonated with our students. They asked thoughtful questions and walked away with real world insight they can carry into their own futures. Thank you, Big Dan, for encouraging our young leaders!

Beta Club students stayed after school to earn their first service hours through a school beautification effort. They served our school janitors and groundskeepers who work so hard to keep our campus clean! Students picked up trash around the school building outside and helped dust all the window ledges inside, hoping to maintain a clean and inviting environment for everyone. It embodies the Beta Club motto: Let us lead by serving others.
