Today in Mrs. Bo’s ELA class students analyzed the different techniques of persuasive language. They listened to a children’s literature story and took notes on their tables on each perspective. Based off of the reasons, students voted on who had the best use of language, reasons, and evidence.










ACMS students and staff gave their testimonies today at FCA. The main message of today is “Go and be disciples.”

Students in Mrs. Linkous' 6th grade social studies classes presented their "thin slides" on Ancient Rome and took brief notes as their peers presented. "Thin Slides" are an EduProtocol that help students quickly review a topic and share their learning with others in return.

Mrs. Kay’s math class created shrinky dink keychains today, and they found the scale factor used when shrinking the plastic!





This morning, a group of our 8th Graders got to experience job shadowing like never before—using Virtual Reality technology right here at our school! Students got a front row seat exploring careers in architecture, health science, skilled trades, hospitality, manufacturing, and more; all without leaving campus! Thank you so much to Mrs. Latoya Council and SC Works Greater Upstate for this incredible opportunity!

Next week, March 3-7, the Beta Club is hosting a donations drive for the Spartanburg Humane Society! This will also be a house competition. The house that brings in the most donations will receive 150 house points. Second place will receive 100 house points. Third place will receive 50 house points.
