Get ready! December is going to be very Merry and Bright! Our calendar of fun is ready for a return run this year. All activities are optional. Students can participate as much or as little as they prefer. We just want to celebrate our wonderful River Ridge Family! Special thanks to Mr. Hembree and the Hospitality Committee for all of their work and planning. We are heading into Winter Break on a high note.

Mrs. Jenkins' students were hard at work today practicing their drama for a shared reading.

Looking forward to this annual program from some of our youngest students! It is always a treat for which we're thankful.

No school on November 26-28 for the Thanksgiving Holidays.

In math, Mrs. Fitzgerald's fifth graders are dividing decimals using base ten blocks to regroup whole numbers into tenths and hundredths.

All smiles today in Mrs. Cleveland's class while learning about money!

Our 5th Grade Student Council members loaded the last of the donations to The Carpenter's Table for delivery today!

Happy 67th Day of School or Six Seven!

The Final Score is in for our Student Council's Clemson vs. Carolina Food Drive benefitting The Carpenter's Table Food Pantry! Your items are already at work in our community feeding our neighbors. We also want to send our sincere appreciation to Mrs. Brock and Mrs. Linarez for all of their behind the scenes work to get this Food Drive up and running and all of the items sorted for delivery.

Make Up Pictures will be made next Thursday, November 20. These are the pictures used in the yearbook, so don't miss out!

Mrs. Harrington's class had a "moovelous" field trip yesterday!

Our 5th Graders were treated to a special visit from Florence Chapel Middle School's drama department. The students performed monologues and spoke about being a part of the drama program. It was a great preview for one of the choices available to our rising middle schoolers next year!
Our Veterans Day Program will be at 8:30am on Tuesday, November 11th. Veterans in our community are invited to join us for this observance. There are plans for the program to be lived streamed on our Facebook page as well.

Here's the latest on our food drive! Thank you so much for your generous support. The first load of food has already been delivered to The Carpenter's Table and is already feeding our community. If you haven't donated or want to donate more, you still have time. Our drive ends next Wednesday.

Just a reminder about today's afternoon carline. We will be making some small changes to improve safety and efficiency. Please be patient as everyone adjusts. The two most important things to keep in mind today are to look at the Faculty members to know when to move your vehicle and pull all the way forward when directed. Thank you so much for helping us make dismissal as safe as possible for all!

A big hooray for Mrs. Cleveland’s class! They earned donuts for completing 50 IReady lessons scoring 100% accuracy.

Mrs. Shetley and Mrs. Mabry's classes had a fun time last week testing to see which liquids would dissolve candy corn. The students were surprised to know that water alone will dissolve a candy corn sometimes faster than vinegar and mouthwash.

Just a reminder there is no school on Monday and Tuesday. We'll see everyone back at school on Wednesday, November 5th.

Everyone was looking sporty today to finish out Red Ribbon Week!
