RRES believes in ensuring that every child has access to nutritious meals each day to support their well-being and academic success! All RRES students are eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch every day this school year through our cafeteria. We are so thankful for the wonderful meals our cafeteria staff works so hard to prepare for River Ridge's students and faculty every day. Happy National School Lunch Week!

Next Wednesday, October 22nd, is Unity Day and all students are encouraged to wear orange . Unity Day is an event created by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, to come together in one giant ORANGE message that no child should ever experience bullying.

BIG NEWS! Our Student Council is sponsoring a Clemson vs. Carolina Food Drive kicking off October 22nd benefitting The Carpenter's Table Food Pantry. You can donate CANNED & NON-PERISHABLES in support of your favorite team, so show your school spirit with lots of donations! The winning team will get to hold a school-wide victory celebration on November 25th when everyone will wear the winning team's colors and their fight song will be played for the school. The Food Drive will run October 22-November 12. May the best team win!

October is National Principal Appreciation Month. We want to recognize and thank our wonderful Dr. Glenda Bigby for all she does for our school, students, faculty, and staff!
