As part of their Responsible Citizen Unit, Mrs. Cleveland's students worked together in teams trying to build the biggest tower. They also worked with 2D shapes drawing and then building them with popsicle sticks.

Mrs. Cloonan's class celebrated the 50th day of school today! They learned about what school was like during the 1950's. They also completed math activities with the number 50 and listened to 50's music.

It's a chilly, twintastic Tuesday at RRES! Have a great day!

The Jammin’ Jellyfish had the BEST time enjoying their 10-minute game time reward! 🎮💙 These kiddos have been working hard, and they definitely deserved a little time to play, laugh, and have fun together! 🥳✨ Another fun Boosterthon reward in the books! 🪼💜

We're celebrating our latest group of Terrific Kids on October 22nd at 8:15am!

We are celebrating our academic achievement on our SC School Report Card! Our Achievement is excellent! We EXCEEDED the district and the state in ELA and Math achievement! Our Overall Score grew 3 points since last year to 60 (Good), which is only 1 point from Excellent. So proud of our students and faculty for all of our gains. River Ridge is Moving Forward Together!

Our K4 classes had an in-house field trip with Greyrock Farms yesterday. Students learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin and an apple. 🍎 Then they got the pick out a pumpkin to take home! 🎃

🎭Lights, camera, action! Mrs. Powers’ ELA classes worked hard writing and planning new endings to a play they read in class. Today, they brought their creativity to life by performing their new endings for their classmates!

🍭✨ Who knew writing could be so sweet?! ✨🍭 Mrs. Jalbert’s Jammin’ Jellyfish had the sweetest day! 🍭💗 The students practiced using adjectives with a special lollipop writing activity. They had so much fun using creative and descriptive words to tell all about their lollipops! 📝🍭 The class also enjoyed a Boosterthon reward day with crazy hair and their favorite stuffies joining them at school! 🧸🤪 There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and sweet memories made throughout the day. It was the perfect way to kick off Fall Break! 🍂✨

Wednesday-Pajama Day
Wear school-appropriate pajamas. Cozy Up to Healthy Choices! Rest matters! Getting enough sleep, taking breaks, and making time to relax help our minds and bodies recharge.

Thursday -Wear Your Favorite Team Jersey, Sports Shirt, or Team Colors
Team up for healthy choices! Strong teammates encourage one another, show respect, include others, and help each other make positive choices.

Friday- Dress as Your Favorite Book Character
Great characters make a difference! Dress up as a book character who demonstrates kindness, courage, friendship, perseverance, and making good choices. Please bring the book your character comes from. No masks, face paint, or weapons/ weapon-like costume props.
