Ms. Taylor's class celebrated Thanksgiving with some very special guests! They are thankful for their families, friends, and teachers.

Mrs. Sheriff and Mrs. Bailey’s classes started a new tradition today. After lessons on gratitude over the last couple of weeks, students got to make their own “spoon of thanks” to share with their families. We hope that our students and their families make many memories to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! 💙

The rehearsals are done and the show is ready for tomorrow's performance. These K5 stars are ready to shine!
After reading "Thanksgiving Long Ago", students in Mrs. Cloonan's class created a snack that represented different elements from the first Thanksgiving.

Our Book Fair starts next Monday, December 1. You can buy gift cards for students to use in the Book Fair at literati.com/store

Don't get in their way! K4 students were on a mission today in the library to find all the turkeys and solve the secret message. They successfully complete the scavenger hunt in record time!

Get ready! December is going to be very Merry and Bright! Our calendar of fun is ready for a return run this year. All activities are optional. Students can participate as much or as little as they prefer. We just want to celebrate our wonderful River Ridge Family! Special thanks to Mr. Hembree and the Hospitality Committee for all of their work and planning. We are heading into Winter Break on a high note.

Mrs. Jenkins' students were hard at work today practicing their drama for a shared reading.

Looking forward to this annual program from some of our youngest students! It is always a treat for which we're thankful.

No school on November 26-28 for the Thanksgiving Holidays.

In math, Mrs. Fitzgerald's fifth graders are dividing decimals using base ten blocks to regroup whole numbers into tenths and hundredths.
