Today Mrs. Cleveland's class celebrated Johnny Appleseed by learning about him, tasting and rating different apples. Then they did a science experiment where they predicted if the apple would float or sink in the water.









Mrs. Cobb's classes have been reading about Pioneer life and moving West. Today, they made Pioneer wagons to illustrate how they traveled.

Arrgh, matey! It is Talk Like a Pirate Day and students celebrated by reading “How I Became a Pirate”, playing pirate games and songs, and writing about being a pirate.

Today, Mrs. Cleveland's class celebrated International Dot Day. They learned about being creative and having the courage to make your mark by reading "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds. Then they made art with different dot items.










Congratulations to Mrs. Wells' class for being the first to win the Golden Spoon this year with their amazing behavior in the cafeteria. Way to go!
