
Our First Grade will perform their ❄️Winter Program❄️ this Thursday, January 30th, at 6:00pm. Can't wait for these talented kiddos to take the stage!


It's Creativity Week in the Library! Students are diving into Creation Stations after listening to the nonfiction book, "The Crayon Man: The True Story of the Invention of Crayola Crayons" by Natascha Biebow. Student can choose to create buttons, build with legos or plus plus blocks, recycle crayons, or draw. Everyone has so much creativity! 🐼







We're taking part in the Greenville Drive's Reading All-Stars program again this year! To complete the program, Elementary Students must read 5 reading-level appropriate books in the 5-week time period starting today. Complete the reading log in BEANSTACK no later than February 28, 2025. Students completing the Reading All-Star reading challenge will receive a complimentary ticket voucher valid for his/her admission to the Celebration game at Fluor Field. Each student ATTENDING the Celebration Game will receive: • Reading All-Star merchandise • A new book for their personal library • Opportunity to participate in a special pre-game parade around the baseball field with Reedy Rip'It

Today is Report Card Day! Please be sure to check your student's bag or folder for their report card and celebrate their successes this school year.


Due to a winter storm watch issued by the National Weather Service, all District Five Schools and offices will be closed on Friday, January 10. ❄️ Friday, January 10 will be an e-Learning day for all District Five students. 💻 This decision was made in the best interest of safety for all D5 students and staff, as snow, sleet and ice is predicted by late Friday morning, and roads will likely be unsafe for buses, families or student drivers to travel 🚌❄️🚗
Teachers will be in touch with students regarding all e-Learning assignments 📚📝. All after school and weekend activities are also canceled.📆
