✨🌼 The River Ridge Hospitality Committee, alongside Dr. Bigby, was honored to host a Meet & Greet welcoming our new principal, Lisa Dunagin! It was a wonderful afternoon filled with smiles, fellowship, and time together as a school family as we celebrate the incredible legacy of Dr. Bigby and look ahead to all that is to come at The Ridge. ❤️🐼

Celebrating a super successful year of learning and growing in Mrs. Cleveland’s class! ❤️

First grade students and teachers celebrated Dr. Bigby’s retirement with a song and cheering. They presented her with one of her favorites, a binder. The binder was filled with writings and drawings from the students with advice on what they think she should do during her retirement. Some ideas included: walking dogs, swimming, going on trips, and our favorite—coming back to read to River Ridge students! Happy Retirement Dr. Bigby! First grade loves you!

Congratulations to our last round of Multiplication Medallion winning 3rd graders. So proud of everyone, you all worked so hard this year!
Summer fun alert! D5 Night with the Spartanburgers on June 23. Ticket sales help the BHS Band raise funds for their appearance in the 2026 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

It's the final Tuesday of the year, so here's some awesome twinning to finish us out!

Congratulations to Abby McBride, our 2026 Superintendent's Citizenship Award winner! Abby is a 5th grader in Mrs. Cobb's homeroom. She exemplifies the qualities of citizenship, leadership, and character every day. She is a talented gymnast and member of the Beta Club. We are so proud of Abby! She is an exceptional role model for her classmates and school. Abby will be honored at tonight's school board meeting.

A bulletin board a year in the making! Thanks to Mrs. Turner for collecting, recycling, and returning when possible all these abandoned bookmarks.

Friday is the last day of school for students this school year. It is also a half day of school with dismissal at 11:30am.

Mrs. Scott’s 3rd grade GT students with Ms. Wheeler and Mrs. Wilber’s K5 scientists had a plant fair today in the STEM lab. Families were invited to see how the students had created a make-believe plant with the same characteristics as a plant found in their chosen animal’s habitat.

5th Grade's in house field trip with the Gaming Truck was a big hit!

Weather alert! Mrs. Goff and Mrs. Ray's classes had all 5 levels of hurricane in their room! Here's some before and after pictures.

When you ❤️your principal and she ❤️ Diet Coke! Teachers, staff, and classes like Ms. Wheeler & Mrs. Wilber's Kindergarteners dropped by to surprise Dr. Bigby with more than 220 bottles and cans of her favorite drink.🥤

Congratulation to our Induction Year Teachers: Virginia Bishop, Bella Bulleman Hernandez, and Leslie Acree. We are so proud of you!
