We are thrilled to announce Mrs. Shannon Wheeler, will be recognized in the Spartanburg County Foundation's "Celebrating Spartanburg County Educators" exhibit, which will be held next week in at the Center for Philanthropy. Mrs. Wheeler is a member of our First Grade team and a part of the RRES family since the opening of the school. The exhibit is open to the public from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, May 4th – 8th. Congratulations, Mrs. Wheeler! We are so proud of you.

Week 1 of our SC Ready Testing begins for our 3rd-5th graders tomorrow. This week at night, focus on lowering stress and ensuring preparation by packing the backpack, and getting a full night's sleep. Each morning, eat breakfast and plan for a calm morning to set a positive tone for the test day.

Rounding out Mrs. Cobb's First Chapter Friday readers is Mrs. Loggins. Mrs. Cobb's ELA classes have thoroughly enjoyed hearing favorite books from some of our favorite teachers this year. They have discovered so many new stories to read! We appreciate all of our readers and have thoroughly enjoyed having these guests in our classroom!
Greyson taught his classmates in Mrs. Huss' room about how magnets produce electricity. He explained the scientific method and did a complete presentation including lights that worked. So impressive!
