Summer fun alert! D5 Night with the Spartanburgers on June 23. Ticket sales help the BHS Band raise funds for their appearance in the 2026 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Congratulations to Abby McBride, our 2026 Superintendent's Citizenship Award winner! Abby is a 5th grader in Mrs. Cobb's homeroom. She exemplifies the qualities of citizenship, leadership, and character every day. She is a talented gymnast and member of the Beta Club. We are so proud of Abby! She is an exceptional role model for her classmates and school. Abby will be honored at tonight's school board meeting.

Friday is the last day of school for students this school year. It is also a half day of school with dismissal at 11:30am.

Mrs. Scott’s 3rd grade GT students with Ms. Wheeler and Mrs. Wilber’s K5 scientists had a plant fair today in the STEM lab. Families were invited to see how the students had created a make-believe plant with the same characteristics as a plant found in their chosen animal’s habitat.

Let's celebrate our returning BHS Grads with some Panda Pride! On Monday, May 18th, wear black & white or your RRES gear for our Grad Walk. We are so proud of them!

Just a reminder our TrebleMakers Chorus is ended for this school year and there are no more rehearsals. Chorus will start again in August.

Week 2 of our SC Ready Testing continues for our 3rd-5th graders tomorrow. Some helpful reminders for this week:

*Prioritize Sleep: Establish a strict, early bedtime to ensure the brain is fully rested and operating at maximum capacity.
*Relaxing Activities: Engage in low-stress activities to help wind down.

Our TrebleMakers Chorus wowed their audience last night with " Pirates - The Musical". Special thanks to Mrs. Hughes for her musical direction of this talented group and Mrs. Goode for the set decorations.
