Mrs. Pinckney has been a wonderful addition to our Reidville Family! Please help us give her a great big welcome!!

Everyday students are “caught” being extraordinary. It may be they held the door for someone, they were extremely kind to a classmate, or they picked up a piece of trash in the hallway. When they’re caught, the student receives a rocking rocket ticket. Their ticket is put together with all the others from their grade level and each week a grade level with the most tickets is declared the rocking rocket grade level of the week. Yesterday we celebrated the rocking rockets of 4th grade with a loud, exciting, friendly Minute to Win it competition.🚀❤️📚

Congratulations to Kaegan and Ben for their outstanding art! Their work is displayed in our front office for the month of December. 🚀

It's gingerbread week in Mrs. Reeves kindergarten class! They made houses and decorated cookies together. 🎄 🚀

This morning, our classrooms had special readers from Florence Chapel Middle School. Students came and read holiday themed storybooks to our Reidville rockets and we even had a guest from the North Pole! 🎄📚❤️

Students in Mrs. Quinby's class are practicing kindness. Each day the Grinch gets to spend the day with a student. At the end of the day that student gets to recognize another student that they saw show kindness and pass it to them for the next day. We are helping the Grinches heart grow bigger and bigger through our kindness!❤️🚀📚

Please be sure to send in your parent/Doctor notes!

Please give a shout out to our newest fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Sarah Green!

Yesterday, one of our Reidville Rockets Christian, was able to come to school for picture day, Christian has been battling cancer since March of 2023. While we are glad he was able to be back in our school, we think he put the zazz in the Kan-Zazz City and represented the Chiefs Kingdom the most today! ❤️🚀

What do Fabian’s Fishies do on a rainy day when you can’t go out and play? Why, read under the ✨ ⭐️ stars of course!!🚀❤️📚

Makeup Picture Day is this Thursday, November 30th from 7:45-9:00. Bring your smiles!

Our fourth graders visited Camp Flintlock today on campus! They made necklaces, churned butter and learned so much while having a great time. 🚀❤️📚

Last week, Tad the Turkey visited 2nd grade classrooms! He dropped off a locked box with treats inside. Students had to solve math problems to solve a password, which lead to a hidden key! The key opened the box.🧡🚀📚

All District Five Offices and Buildings will be closed from Wednesday, November 22 through Sunday, November 26th. We will see you back at school Monday, November 27th! Happy Thanksgiving!🍁 🚀

Today is Rivalry Day. As many of our students came to school in their favorite teams apparel to cheer for their team, for a moment we put aside our rivalries and 2nd and 4th grade students came together to team up to root for our favorite team, the USA.
Fourth grade and second grade students teamed up to fill stockings for soldiers for Christmas. Stockings were filled with hand written notes, snacks, candy, personal items, and most importantly love.
The gift of our freedom is something we are thankful for this holiday season. Rivalries aside, we unite together to thank the ones who selflessness serve us.🚀❤️📚

Our coin drive challenge winner was....Clemson! 🐅
Mr. Towery had to wear as much Tiger gear as possible. 🚀

Mrs. Harding's Spanish classes teamed up with our 4th graders for Stockings for Soldiers. Each stocking received a special card from a student in second grade. #reidvillestrong

Mrs. Hoenshels first grade class read Turkey Trouble and then disguised their turkeys so they wouldn’t get eaten for Thanksgiving dinner! 🦃 🚀📚

Please help us give a big Reidville welcome to one of our new music teachers, Mr. Tyler King!
