We hope you and your student had a great first week of the 2025-2026 school year. We certainly did at RVES. It was amazing having our students back in the building.

Every two weeks, you will receive a ROCKET REPORT (https://secure.smore.com/n/1umwg8). We do send home papers on Wednesday with your student; however, not all information is sent home in paper from. The ROCKET REPORT is a great way to stay the most up to date on school information. As always should you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call at school.

Thank you for sharing your students with us and for helping us have a year filled with curiosity, laughter, learning, and a little bit of Disney sparkle in every day. Together, we will make sure our students know that, in the words of Walt Disney himself, “If you can dream it, you can do it.”

We ended our first week back at school with a wonderful Friday full of activities, house sorting, special snacks and friends! 🚀 We can't wait to see how awesome you'll all be on Monday! Happy Weekend, Rockets!

We had a wonderful day at the happiest school on earth! 🌍 Despite the rain, there was sunshine. Students caught up with friends, made Jitter Glitter and did ice-breakers! We can't wait to see everyone back for day 2️⃣ tomorrow! 🚀

We are excited to see our students and families at our Meet the Teacher event this Thursday, August 7th from 4:00 - 6:30. Jeremiah's Italian Ice will be out ready to serve sweet treats while you pay your student's tech fee, speak with our RVES PTO and visit your child's classroom!

If your student(s) are first through fifth grade, please feel free to drop in during this time.
Kindergarten families, you should have received a letter entailing your student's teacher information as well as a QR code to scan and sign up for an appointment. Please contact the front office if you have any trouble with this at all and they will be happy to assist you.

Our annual end of year celebration today was so much fun! 🤩 We will miss all of your faces and look forward to seeing you back in August! 🚀

Anyone who knows Sadie, knows that she is an incredible human being. She is kind, she is a great friend, she is polite and thoughtful. ❤️She is respectful of her peers and teachers. Carnival Day at Reidville is always so much fun for everyone! Games were played, teachers and administrators were dunked in the dunk tank, prizes were given.

Fourth grade hosted their WAX MUSEUM yesterday! 📜 Our students have worked so hard to prepare and present for our students, faculty and families!🚀

In honor of this years graduating class, we ask that all of our students show spirit by wearing their Reidville t-shirts or Reidville colors (blue, red, yellow, white) on Monday, May 19th. Thank you for your help with this!

We have limited copies left for purchase! Yearbook Day is this Friday, May 16th. If you would like to reserve a copy for your student, please come to the front office with $30 cash or check. Please do not send money with students. We will sell until we run out!

🏫 Scholars in Dr. B’s 2nd grade class spent an entire day learning with BUBBLES! 🫧 They used engineering and design to create a bubble wand and bubble bottle container, they did grammar work with bubble themed sentences, wrote creative pieces about being trapped in a bubble, and solved math word problems about bubbles. They listened to a read aloud about the invention of bubble gum…their favorite fact was why it’s traditionally pink. They also experimented with bouncing bubbles and had some fun at the end of the day with bubble wands! 🚀
