🚀 We’re wrapping up Red Ribbon Week with a celebration that reminds us we can make good choices and fall in love with reading! 🍁 Students will spend time with their reading buddies sharing favorite books and celebrating the joy of stories together. It’s the perfect way to end the week—celebrating reading and making positive choices! 📚

Don't forget, schools are closed Monday and Tuesday, November 3rrd and 4th! We will see you back on Wednesday!

Operation Active Kids (O.A.K.) program, which empowers youth to get active, stay healthy and grow strong-mind, body and spirit, visited RVES today! 🚀 Our students learned that OAK stands for "Own your choices, be Active and show Kindness". At the end of the assembly, each classroom teacher received an OAK Recess Activity Kit filled with playground balls, jump ropes and activities that encourage movement, teamwork and fun! 🤩

In a kingdom of laughter and learning so bright,
Shines Dr. Rose with her heart full of light.
With books as her castles and dreams as her crown,
She lifts up spirits and soothes all frowns.
Her voice is a melody, gentle and true,
Guiding each student in all that they do.
The halls bloom with joy wherever she goes—
For magic is real in the smile of Dr. Rose.
Please help us celebrate Dr. Rose in all that she does for our school!

RED Week is our alternative to Red Ribbon Week. This is a week of fun theme days that reinforce the messages we're teaching about the courage to stand up for yourself, along with reinforcing healthy choices.
Save the date(s)!--Attached is the flyer with the theme days for RED Week (October 27-31).
We'll share more details about Friday's "Fall in Love with Reading" as we get closer to the date.
