*WEATHER ALERT* Tuesday, January 9, will be an e-Learning day for all District Five students and staff. The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Spartanburg County and the Upstate due to strong storms that are due to hit our area throughout Tuesday. Heavy rainfall and winds near school dismissal times could potentially make it too dangerous for our buses, student drivers or families to travel. South Carolina restricts school bus travel if sustained winds hit 30 mph or gusts exceed 40 mph. Teachers will be in touch with all students regarding assignments. All after school activities and practices are also be canceled for Tuesday. We appreciate your patience and understanding as safety is always our top priority in District Five.

You've probably seen her helping out in car line during dismissal, but it's because she wears quite a few hats here at Reidville! Please help us give a nice Reidville welcome to Mrs. Melissa Erwin!

Kindergarten registration for the upcoming academic year is OPEN! If you are zoned for Reidville for the 2024-2025 school year, and your student will be five years old before September 1, 2024, please be sure to stop by our front office with your supporting documents to register your child.
Our office is open for registration from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday through Thursday or by appointment only. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Mrs. Pinckney has been a wonderful addition to our Reidville Family! Please help us give her a great big welcome!!

Everyday students are “caught” being extraordinary. It may be they held the door for someone, they were extremely kind to a classmate, or they picked up a piece of trash in the hallway. When they’re caught, the student receives a rocking rocket ticket. Their ticket is put together with all the others from their grade level and each week a grade level with the most tickets is declared the rocking rocket grade level of the week. Yesterday we celebrated the rocking rockets of 4th grade with a loud, exciting, friendly Minute to Win it competition.🚀❤️📚

Congratulations to Kaegan and Ben for their outstanding art! Their work is displayed in our front office for the month of December. 🚀
