Parents, check your email for information and the NEW Campus Traffic Flow Map and other first day procedures. Remember to give yourself extra time tomorrow and remind your drivers to do the same. You should also receive another email with the most-up-to-date schedules to send with your students with corrected room numbers and any course corrections.
Tomorrow August 6, 2026 is THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL and our faculty and staff are excited to welcome students back to James F. Byrnes High School for another outstanding year! We have been working hard all summer to prepare for a successful start and we can’t wait to see our students fill these hallways!
Students should be prepared to report directly to their Grad Group at 7:57am. The school day begins at 8:15 am.
Remind them to ask if they need help finding their way around campus - we are all in this together!
