It is time for our College Fair on Thursday, October 2, 9:00 am-10:30 am in the Schofield Gymnasium. There will be close to 70 colleges represented, and it is for our 11th and 12th graders! 1st period will be extended until 10:30 am.

Students will need to create an account using Strive Scan to create a QR code that institutions will scan at the College Fair, and institutions will use this information for a quick follow-up later. The students will also receive information from StriveScan regarding any of the schools they spoke to in case they have questions later. Students should create the account and print the QR code to bring with them. Strivescan.com has the student registration link at the top of their page.

Any student unable to attend the College Fair at school on Thursday morning (due to RDA or MSC attendance or other conflicts ) could plan and attend the Spartanburg College Fair at USC Upstate tomorrow night, Tuesday, September 30, 6-7:30 pm. See the attached flyer for this information.

A group of Byrnes High School Juniors and Seniors visited Spartanburg County EMS Headquarters on Tuesday, last week. This experiential learning career session provided students with an inside look at EMS by allowing them to participate in real-world EMS scenarios alongside paramedics and EMTs who work in the field. Sponsored by the SC Department of Employment and Workforce, information was provided about career pathways and future employment at Spartanburg EMS.
