Students in Mrs. Linkous' social studies classes started a mini research project today! First they worked in Padlet to create questions for eight different images. Then they were able to pick any question as their research question. They worked on finding incredible sources, writing down facts, and inserting the links into a chart. Next week, they will continue writing about their topic and presenting to their classmates.

Miss Wagaman's science classes explored how heat transfers in a real life situation -- making s'mores. Students identified conduction (when heat transferred from the marshmallow to the skewer), convection (the liquid circulating in the sterno can), and radiation (the heat from the fire roasting the marshmallows). Everybody agreed that the best part of the lab was when they were able to eat their s'mores at the end!
