Our Student Council's next project is collecting items for the students and families in need from Buncombe County schools in Western North Carolina. The ACMS "Wolves Warm Hearts" project is providing warm mittens, hats, and socks for students. This can make a big difference, especially as the colder months approach. Abner Creek Football played hard last night and never gave up against some very talented Florence Chapel teams. The Wolves look to bounce back next week against Carver on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024 with a 7/8th combined football game.

Mrs. Harper's ELA class is preparing to write their own personal narrative stories, so students evaluated what makes an interesting beginning. They then did a gallery walk where students looked at beginnings from different stories to use as inspiration for their own writing.
