Next week is Red Ribbon Week at ACMS! Mark your calendars for these fun spirit days starting Monday!

Our 8th graders kept the winning streak going tonight against Boiling Springs! Great job boys and coaches! We are so proud of you! Go Wolves! 🐺

Chorus students enjoyed their annual fall party this week! The choir officers did an amazing job and planning the event so that all choir students had a chance to meet each other, eat lots of food, play fun games, and sing karaoke! A big thanks to Mr. Dean for taking care of popcorn explosions!

Our teacher tailgate was a hit yesterday before the seventh grade football game! Lots of yummy snacks and school spirit!

As part of a fall teacher appreciation week Mr. Dean put on his chef’s hat and served up some "pancakes and praise"! It's been a great week at ACMS!

Mark your calendars for November 11! We would love to have Veterans join us for this day. We would also love to have a picture to display by November 5th as well! 🇺🇸

UPDATE: We will play Gaffney at home Wednesday at 5:00 for the finals!!!
And our boys did it again! Our undefeated 7th grade team won tonight against Boiling Springs. They finished the season 7-0 and West Division Champions.

Mark your calendars if you're interested!

This week Mrs. Fisher's classes practiced using quotation marks by turning comic strips into stories with dialogue!

Big thanks to Mrs. Spencer for supporting Mrs. Bo’s ELA classes with a fun writing activity! 🎉
Students spun a wheel to pick a character and a conflict, then used their creativity to write short stories.
The surprise? Mr. Dean ended up being the main character in a lot of their stories—without even knowing it! 😄
Thanks for the laughs and learning, Mrs. Spencer!

From everyone at FCA, thank you to all our local pastors and youth pastors! Your dedication and hard work make a real difference in our community! We are so grateful for all you do!

Some of our seventh and eighth grade football players enjoyed a Saturday afternoon at Wofford College this weekend with their families!

Big news from volleyball! Our girls won the first game this morning in the tournament. They will play again this afternoon at 1:30 at D.R. Hill!
Congratulations to Jerzi, Julianna, and Garrison who were named all conference players! Go Wolves!!

Our afterschool program has been working on some pretty cool art projects lately!l with Ms. Hawhee! 💙🩶

Today, students Ms. Pierce's classes stepped into the courtroom for a Tell-Tale Heart Mock Trial, complete with a judge, lawyers, witnesses, jurors, and even the ghost of the old man!
They debated the narrator’s sanity, questioned key witnesses, and presented evidence straight from the story. Every student had a role, and they owned it!

Ms. Ripple’s classes used their word knowledge to complete an Escape Room. Students collaborated to complete rhyming puzzles, a cryptogram, a pictogram, and a logic puzzle. Once they gathered the 4 key words, they had to unscramble the sentence to find the correct combination. Everyone enjoyed seeing if their combination was correct to open the lock! 🔓

Big smiles all around! 😁A special thank you to Dr. Jim Tankersley for sharing all about his career as a dentist at Wolves of the Workforce today. Dr. Tankersley presented fascinating information about the world of dentistry and our students asked awesome questions! It was a great day for learning! 🦷

This morning, our student athlete leadership team (SALT) spent some time at Abner Creek Academy mentoring some of their students! They had a great time getting to know their new buddies. 🐺🐊

Who says you can't learn math in ELA? Ms. Mezzacampo helped our 8th graders with setting up a pie chart to explain who is to blame for Bob's death in The Outsiders. Students then found evidence from the text to support their reasoning!
