🚀✨ Big brains at work in Mrs. Landon’s 8th Grade Science! 🌎🔭 Our students have been exploring Earth’s place in the universe 🌌 and this week they took it to the next level! Using their math skills ➗📏, they converted the distance of each celestial body from the Sun ☀️ from astronomical units (AU) to centimeters — all using their own custom scale models! 🤯📐

Mrs. Linkous' classes played "Luck of the Draw" today to review for a test. They had to work together to match like concepts. Once they found the right answers they received a tickets with a positive or negative number on it. Then they had to go to the board and record their points to keep track of who was in the lead. A lot of teamwork and a lot of review, but it was the luck of the draw that determined the winners!
