The last few days of red ribbon week have been a blast! Today we ended with pajamas because we "dream of a drug free school"!

Join us in teaming up to help our friends fighting cancer on November 6th! Please bring cash!

Yesterday was one of the best days of the year... special Olympic bowling! Ms. Loving's class and their buddies had a blast along with some of Mrs. Kay's students too!

7th grade in PLTW classes made puzzle cubes, and then they went and collected data to see how long it took people to solve it!

After our FCA meeting this morning, students took time to reflect and show support for Jamaica and all those impacted by Hurricane Melissa.
We had an amazing turnout and were proud to see so many students come together in care and concern for others. 🌎

We are so proud of our students who were inducted into Beta Club last night! So much hard work and dedication from each and every one of them!

Congratulations to these four choir students who successfully auditioned into the 2026 South Carolina All State Honor Choir! They will participate in rehearsals and a concert at the end of January at Coastal Carolina University. We are so proud of them!

Red Ribbon Week day 2! Anything but a book bag was anything but dull. Such a hilarious day watching kids walking through the halls with all these crazy items!

Basketball tryouts are coming up! 🏀
Make sure to mark your calendars.

D5 recently hosted a PLTW Showcase for teachers across the Upstate, giving them a hands-on look at how STEM and career-connected learning come alive in the classroom. Visiting educators observed a 7th grade Design & Modeling class as students applied the design process to create their own custom puzzle cubes. Afterward, the guests put their problem-solving skills to the test by trying to solve these puzzles themselves!

Drugs can't find us! Day 1 of Red Ribbon Week was camouflage! (We even had one brave little deer show up too! 🦌)
Don't forget tomorrow is "anything but a book bag day". We can't wait to see all the creative ways you bring your things to school.

Congratulations to the students who were recognized for the first quarter! These students showed perseverance, determination, leadership, and so much more! Let's Go Wolves!! 🐺 #leadthepack

Update on the 8th grade game this week! Come cheer on undefeated 8th grade team as they play Dawkins at Dawkins on Thursday at 5:00.

Another 7th grade football update: Our seventh grade team will play Gaffney at Nixon Field under the lights at 7 PM Wednesday! Bring all your family and friends and let's pack the stands!

6th graders interested in lacrosse! This is a great chance for you to check it out! 🥍

8th graders: Reminder that ALL field trip money & forms are DUE OCTOBER 31. We cannot accept any late payments on this as we have to give final numbers to Swamp Rabbits that afternoon. This is a great opportunity for them to see everything we have learned in science, in action. They also do a great job with STEM displays and interactive exhibits for them to explore.

Next week is Red Ribbon Week at ACMS! Mark your calendars for these fun spirit days starting Monday!

Our 8th graders kept the winning streak going tonight against Boiling Springs! Great job boys and coaches! We are so proud of you! Go Wolves! 🐺

Chorus students enjoyed their annual fall party this week! The choir officers did an amazing job and planning the event so that all choir students had a chance to meet each other, eat lots of food, play fun games, and sing karaoke! A big thanks to Mr. Dean for taking care of popcorn explosions!

Our teacher tailgate was a hit yesterday before the seventh grade football game! Lots of yummy snacks and school spirit!
