BIG results from the Rebel Swim Team Region Meet and State Qualifiers, and look at our two Wolves Charlie and Ally!!! Girls: Finished 4th in the Region Boys: Finished 6th in the Region Charlie Malone got third place in the 100 back. Kira Garrett and Charlie Malone got All Region (top 20 point scorers). State Team: The following athletes will be part of our state team and will be competing at state on Thursday, October 8 (girls) and Saturday, October 10 (boys). Students in Ms. Pierce’s 8th grade ELA class turned their classroom into a courtroom as we wrapped up our study of “The Outsiders” with a Johnny Cade Mock Trial!
Using evidence from the novel, students stepped into the roles of judges, jurors, complete with Ponyboy and Cherry as witnesses!
No need to worry Johnny Cade was found NOT GUILTY!
