Our PTO challenged our students to raise 💲3️⃣0️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ and they exceeded that Boosterthon Dancefit 🕺🏼 goal! With reaching the goal, our amazing Gator 🐊 Admin were able to complete their challenge 💪🏽 today! 😂The Gator (Mrs. Fowler) won the competition! Ms. Crow and Mrs. Weaver’s K5 class had a day of apple fun. 🍏 They predicted whether red, green or yellow apples sink ⬇️ or float ⬆️ then tested their predictions. They also taste tested each color of apple and wrote their favorite. They collected data from the class and created a graph 📊 to display which apple most children liked. 🍎 and 🍏 were equal!

We are back to 💚REGULAR SCHEDULE💙 for Wednesday, October 9!
All second graders in the state of South Carolina take CogAt (3 days) and IOWA (2 days). ✏️ Among other things, these tests help in the identification process for the Gifted and Talented program. There is nothing you can do to study or prepare at home for these tests. The best way to help is to make sure your child gets a good night of sleep 🛌 , arrives on time (7:30) ⏰, and eats a healthy breakfast. 🍳 Please do not schedule 🗓️ any appointments for these days that would require a late sign in or an early dismissal that could interrupt testing for your child.

CogAt: Oct 15, Oct 16, Oct 17
IOWA: Oct 23 and Oct 24

Please note the following schedule adjustments:
🚌 Buses will run 2 hours later than normal. Pick up times are regular times.
⏰ School doors will open at 9:00 AM.
🍎 Breakfast will be served from 9:00 AM to 9:30AM.
🏫 No PCD classes or AM/PM 4K classes tomorrow
