It wouldn't be December without our first graders and The Littlest Christmas Tree!🎄 Bravo!

Our ACA D5 Honor Choir members had a clinic at Byrnes today with schools from across the district and held their concert tonight. The group is made up of 4th and 5th graders.
Voices in D5 is a staff choral group that formed two years ago. The group is made of current and past staff including retirees and some that have gone on to other things but still have ties to D5. The group performs 2-3 times a year. They had their Christmas Concert tonight.
What a job well done by both groups tonight! 🎶

The Elf Shelf Holiday Store is happening this week! 🎄

The Student Council held a Red Ribbon Week canned food 🥫 drive in November and our students and their families were so generous in their giving!! Today, the class representatives were able to deliver the collected food to Middle Tyger Community Center, which will use it to help others in the community! ❤️ They took a tour of MTCC, visited some of the childcare classes, learned about how the MTCC serves the community, and sorted donated food.

Thank you to Abner Creek Academy PTO for spoiling our staff! 🦃
