Students are invited to participate in Book Character Day on Friday, March 6 as we celebrate Read Across America Week. Please check out the guidelines on the graphic.

Mrs. Boyd and Ms. Wade’s K5 class wrapped up black history month by learning about an artist named Alma Thomas. Children worked together to write a story about Alma Thomas and they created their own “Alma Thomas” pieces of art. 🖼️

Our staff presented the workers of our new staff entrance with some Valentines goodies - all spearheaded by Miss Bessie! ❤️

‼️Don't forget‼️
Wednesday, February 11, is a scheduled early release day for students. Staff will be in training the rest of the school day. There will be no Wolf Pack, ACA Afterschool or K4/PCD classes. We will dismiss at 11:30.

They are making great progress on our teacher entrance! Earlier we shared that there would be a time in the construction process that we would need to close the sidewalk in the bus loop. We have reached that phase! Starting this Wednesday, February 11th, the sidewalk will be closed to all walkers. Please do not attempt to walk your child to school until we receive word that it is safe to resume this practice. Walkers should be car riders through the front car line while the sidewalk is closed. Please make sure you have car tags for anyone that will be picking up your child. If you do not have them, please bring in a picture ID today to get some from the front office. The sidewalk closure will NOT affect our bus riders. All bus routes will continue as usual. Thank you for your patience and understanding. 🚧

When you drop everything and run outside to see the snowflakes!! ❄️

Arrrgghh! You Ready for the Book Fair? 🦜
Don't miss the Literati Treasured Tales Book Fair in the ACA Library the week of February 23-27. You can shop online or send money or an eWallet with your child that week. We can't wait to dive into some treasured tales! 🪙📚

We will have many activities for the family to enjoy including the bookfair 📚 and food trucks. 🍔 Your child’s artwork 🖼️ will be available for purchase at the art show from 5-6:30 pm. Students will need to be outside the cafeteria five minutes ⏰ before their performance.

It's National School Counselor Week and we are thankful for ours! Thank you for all you do, Mrs. Jensen and Mrs. Denman! 💙💚

In anticipation for the snow, Mrs. Blackwell’s first grade read The Snowy Day and discussed central idea. Then they made snowflakes ❄️ from coffee filters!

We are 💯 days smarter!

Our Multi-Lingual students will be taking ACCESS testing for the next few weeks. This is not everyday but they may be testing several days during this time. If you have any questions, please contact the school.
